Founded by a Spotsylvania County Public Schools teacher, Buy Local Hands was created as a community service distribution platform for locally-made goods. We connect non-profit groups with purveyors of products made right here in the Greater Fredericksburg, Virginia, area.
Rather than the typical items you’ve purchased from fundraiser companies before to support your organization, Buy Local Hands offers high-quality, beautiful, fun, useful, and/or healthy goods produced by local artists, artisans, musicians, farm folk, and other talented, creative individuals…stuff that you want to buy for your family, your friends, and yourself!
Our shop is open to anyone and everyone 24/7! A portion – 20% – of every individual purchase made (those not associated with a fundraiser) is donated to a local charity.
